A rig specced for your games, not a spreadsheet

Every build starts with a conversation about what you play, what monitor you own, and what you want the machine to still be doing in three years. From there the parts list is built backwards from the target frame rate — no padded GPU on a 1080p display, no bottlenecked CPU on a flagship card.

You can supply your own parts, or have them sourced at cost so you see exactly where the money went. Either way the build gets assembled clean, tuned in BIOS, stress-tested, and handed over with the benchmark numbers it was promised to hit.

Rented game hosting charges per player slot, locks down the config, and holds your world files hostage. A locally hosted server flips that: the box lives with you (or here), the mods are whatever you want, and the save data is yours to walk away with.

Lyon Solutions specs the machine, installs and hardens the server software, wires up backups, and sets you up with admin tools. Take it fully managed with ongoing updates and monitoring, or have it built, documented, and handed over for you to run.

This is the part of Lyon Solutions that doesn't fit a catalog. A bracket that doesn't exist. An enclosure for a board nobody makes a case for. A rack for equipment that was never meant to be racked. A prototype you need in your hands before you can tell whether it works.

It starts with a sketch or a description, moves to a measured spec, gets printed or assembled, then iterates until it's right. Once a design is proven, small-batch runs are straightforward.

Do I buy the parts, or do you?

Either way works. Hand over a parts list and a box of components, or have everything sourced at cost and billed separately from labor — so you can see exactly what you paid for hardware versus the build.

What does "locally hosted game server" actually mean?

The server runs on real hardware that you own, or that's hosted here locally — not a rented slot on a shared provider. No per-player pricing, full mod and config control, and the world files stay yours. If you ever want to move it, you take the drive.

Can you build something that doesn't exist yet?

That's the point of the custom hardware side. Bring a concept, a sketch, or a problem, and it comes back as a measured spec, a printed prototype, and then a finished unit. If it turns out not to be buildable at a sane cost, you'll hear that before any money changes hands.

Is there a warranty?

Component manufacturer warranties stay registered in your name — you're never locked into going through us for an RMA. Build workmanship is covered for 12 months, and support questions after handoff are free.

Do you work remotely, or only locally?

Gaming PCs and custom hardware are built locally in the Tri-Cities, WA area and can ship. Game server setup, configuration, and management can be handled remotely anywhere.

How long does a build take?

A standard PC build is typically under a week once parts are in hand, plus burn-in. Server setups depend on mod complexity. Custom fabrication depends on how many iterations the design needs — you'll get a timeline with the quote, not after.
